From 6 to 8 September 2024, Repair Medical's fifth technical seminar was successfully held in Jilin City, Jilin Province, where technical managers and technical support engineers from all regions of the country gathered in the spirit of exploration, focusing on the four core issues of communication, in line with the spirit of ‘the benevolent enjoy the mountains, the wise enjoy the water; the technical enjoy the new, the researchers enjoy the deep’. In the spirit of exploring ‘the benevolence of the mountain, the wisdom of the water; the technology of the new, the research of the deep’, around the four core issues to exchange, to explore the new knowledge of the original heart, to promote the technology of mutual learning and improvement.

       With the progress of the seminar, the core topics of the meeting were also revealed simultaneously: firstly, the fourth LOG case review and analysis prize competition kicked off the meeting, followed by the sharing and discussion on PET/CT artefacts and typical cases, then the in-depth exploration of clinical applications, and finally, the sharing of the introduction of the frontiers of nuclear medicine.

       No review, no growth. The first agenda of the meeting was the case analysis competition around the fourth LOG review, each region sent out the ‘elite’, around the SPECT/CT and PET/CT and other mainstream models of typical cases to start a fierce competition, by Ding, Luo, Deng, Sun, four senior experts served as judges.

       In this exchange of wisdom and technology, the judges scored in a rigorous and professional manner from multiple dimensions, such as complete log records, completeness of maintenance cases, and logic of troubleshooting. The contestants not only showed solid professional skills, but also inspired new thinking sparks in the interaction, which truly embodied the seminar spirit of ‘technology is new and researchers are deep’.

       In the PET/CT artifacts and typical cases sharing and discussion session, the moderator, Sun Pengliang, led an in-depth analysis of the causes of PET artifacts and troubleshooting methods. The technicians present said that through the identification and correction analysis of typical artifact cases, as well as the related explanation of precautions, it not only gave them a more comprehensive understanding of the performance of PET/CT equipment, but also grasped the technical logic of maintenance and troubleshooting in the interaction and seminar. This session not only strengthened the professional competence of the technicians, but also laid a solid foundation for improving Repair Medical's service quality.

       At the nuclear medicine frontier sharing session, Mr Luo and Mr Deng shared their insights on the development of new machines and technologies and the frontier of nuclear medicine drugs and synthesis respectively. They not only introduced the latest achievements of current medical technology, but also looked forward to the future development trend. ‘The road is long and the journey is far, I will go up and down to seek for it’, the technicians present also enriched their own knowledge horizons through the industry insights and forward thinking of the technical experts.
