From 20 to 22 September 2024, the sixth offline practical training course for medical physicists (nuclear medicine), hosted by the Chinese Association of Ethnic Health, undertaken by the Training Department of the Chinese Association of Ethnic Health and the Nuclear Medicine Branch of the Chinese Association of Ethnic Health, with technical support from the Third Affiliated Hospital of Hebei Medical University and Zhejiang Repair Medical Science and Technology Company Limited, was successfully held in the courtyard of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Hebei Medical University. Successfully held.
Zhao Yanhong, President of the Nuclear Medicine Branch of the Chinese Association for Ethnic Health, expert of the Special Committee on Radiological Health Standards of the National Health Standards Committee, Professor Geng Jianhua, Vice President of the Nuclear Medicine Branch of the Chinese Association for Ethnic Health, Wang Pengcheng, Vice President of the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University, Qu Yan, Chief of the Department of the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University, Xie Peng, Deputy Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine of the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University, Yu Xiaoxiao, expert of the Special Committee of the Chinese Association for Ethnic Health Yu Xiaoxiao, an expert of the Special Committee, Dr Worksop Mingkai, a member of the Nuclear Medicine Branch of the Chinese Association of Ethnic Health and a researcher of the Department of Nuclear Medicine of Beijing Anzhen Hospital, as well as more than 20 trainees from all over the country attended the event.
In-depth interaction for a comprehensive understanding of quality control and improvement of nuclear medicine equipment

As the technical support unit of this training course, the senior technical team members of Ruipai Medical went all out to share their industry insights and practical experience. Mr. Ding Baoqiang explained the relevant national standards of nuclear medicine imaging equipment SPECT, PET and CT, the specific meaning of each performance index of the equipment, the qualification requirements and testing methods; Mr. Sun Pengliang revealed how to avoid and solve the artifacts phenomenon in the nuclear medicine image through case study analysis and emphasized the importance of routine maintenance to ensure high quality images; Mr. Deng Xiang taught the internal structure and operation principle of cyclotron. Deng Xiang gave a lecture on the internal structure and operation principle of cyclotron, which provided the participants with practical and comprehensive basic knowledge and maintenance skills of the equipment.
Practical exercises, quenching the essence of technology

In order to transform theoretical knowledge into practical ability, the training course set up a practical demonstration session. Three lecturers, Ding Baoqiang, Luo Lixiao and Sun Pengliang, demonstrated the operation procedures of PET, SPECT and CT stability testing, covering all steps from preparation of radioactive sources, model positioning, acquisition setup to data analysis. This immersive teaching method enabled the participants to deepen their understanding and master the key skills in practice, and to experience the learning effect of ‘combining theory and practice’.
Continuous improvement and promotion of service upgrading

This is the sixth medical physicist (nuclear medicine) training provided by Repair Medical technical support, Repair Medical technicians continue to review and summarise the previous training courses, fine-tune the content of the lectures, improve the teaching methods, increase the interaction with the students, iterative upgrading, and achieved better teaching results.
